Noon break

Phew, finally it's been finished.

This is the very non-deadline commission that my mother has ordered me to do looong ago. Just by doing this pic, I've found out a fatal weakness of mine, which is that I lose directions and become useless when there are multiple characters in the scene, no matter how simple they are. Besides, because this pic was started when I was still in my 2nd semester at school, there were many times during which I lost motivations in various lame ways. Shame on me!!!

My client, who is also my mom and a traditionalist herself, wanted the pic to look simple and 'careless' just like the cheap traditional works that were hanged she had seen in the shop. So the carelessness you're seeing here is both actually purposely and the result of my losing motivations ^^. I've never worked this carelessly due to losing motivations. Even though my mother has allowed me to give up (and already got Goodbye Melody from my shop as a substitute), I still feel so guilty as this is my first commission, so I've finished it now...

Shame on me!!! (again)
